Victorian 10" Isle of Man Fusee Wall Clock
A late Victorian walnut cased 10" dial single fusee dial clock retailed by Cowell of Douglas, Isle of Man c.1900. The walnut case with moulded dial surround and matching back box with access doors ...to the base and side. The original painted dial with Roman numerals and the retailers name, plus blued steel hands all sat behind a glazed view window, which is mounted in a hinged opening polished brass bezel. High quality single fusee movement by W&H with anchor escapement and original chain drive. Presented in excellent original condition with a deep shine and in fully guaranteed working order. Measures 13" diameter overall x 10" dial x 5.75" deep. Stock number 39785.
