Unusual Victorian Silver Wallet Photo Frame
An unusual Victorian cast silver wallet design hinged opening photo frame, hallmarked London 1894. The heavy quality solid silver case with slightly rounded edges and plain polished sides; clasp to the front edge to hold the two sections closed. The case opening with piano style hinge to the rear to reveal two photograph windows, each with cast silver removable bezel to hold the photo in place. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith John Millward Banks along with clear hallmarks to all sections. An unusual item presented in immaculate unused condition with a deep shine. Meas...ures 2.25" wide x 0.30" deep closed x 2.75" high and opens out to 4.5" wide. Stock number 40766.
