Unusual Victorian Opalescent Crystal and Silver Ink Well

An unusual Victorian opalescent crystal and silver ink well, hallmarked Sheffield 1889. The opalescent crystal base comprising of four spheres, three forming the foot and one sat on top forming the ink well. The opalescent finish reflecting different tones of blues, pinks and greens in the light. The sold silver collar and hinged top with rope twist design rim to the edge of the lid. Presented in excellent condition with the glass in perfect condition and clear hallmarks to all sections. Measures 4" wide x 4" deep x 4" high. Stock number 39957.
