Unusual Victorian Horn and Silver Hunting Flask

An unusual mid Victorian horn hunting flask with silver top and foot, hallmarked London 1868. Hollowed out horn vessel with silver rim to the base and inset glass base. Silver collar to the top with spherical bayonet locking silver lid. Bears the makers mark for London silversmith Thomas Johnson along with clear hallmarks to all sections. An unusual top quality piece presented in immaculate condition.   Measures 2.25" diameter at the base tappering to 1" at the lid x 9.5" high.    Stock number 41385.
