Unusual Silver Double Sovereign Case
An unusual silver pocket watch style sovereign case with hinged internal section to hold a sovereign and half sovereign, hallmarked Chester 1901. The deep circular solid silver case with domed sides, hanging loop to the top, button opening release catch set in between. The case opening to reveal a clean interior with hinged internal section with spring loaded engine turned disks to each side, to hold a sovereign and half sovereign. Bears the makers mark for E J Trevitt & Sons, specialist watch and case maker, along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate unuse...d condition. Measures 1.25" diameter x 0.5" deep x 1.75" high including hanging loop. Stock number 40340.
