An unusual heavy quality George V period planished silver squeeze tobacco box in mint condition, hallmarked Birmingham 1927. Circular form with rounded sides for comfort in the pocket, planish...ed finish to all the surfaces. The lid with concealed hinge and blank cartouche to the centre. The sides squeezing to release the tight fitting air tight lid. Opens to reveal a clean gilt lined interior. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths A & J Zimmerman along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine.
