Unusual Fine Quality Persian Pure Wool Rug

An unusual and fine quality hand knotted Persian pure wool rug decorated with soft coloured floral sprays, typical of the Kerman area of central Persia c.1910. The close hand knotted pile with medallions of floral sprays in soft blues and pinks set against muted tones of fawn and soft browns.
