Unusual 1920's World Time Clock
A very unusual 8 day world time clock with rotating globe to the top C.1920. Engraved silvered dial with two dials, the lower one indicating the 24 hour clock and the smaller upper dial indicating the minutes. Paper mache 4" globe sat above with needle to the front indicating the time for that part of the world as it rotates. The heavy plated movement with large drive train and platform escapement, fully overhauled and working. Sat on a moulded rosewood base with decorative inlay, the original glass dome cover sitting on the base. Presented in superb fully restored condition and in full workin...g order. Measures 19" high x 13.5" wide x 8" deep. Stock number 32961.
