A superb George V period silver gilt and tortoise shell traveling clock, hallmarked London 1925. Moulded edge tortoise shell case with high quality silver gilt edge to both sides of the inner edge wit...h clasp closing and hinged opening. Opens to reveal a gilt edged interior with enamel dial clock movement to the folding inner panel. Opens out to form a table top clock. Original movement in full working order. Bears the makers mark for Cohen & Charles. Superb condition with a deep shine, excellent colour to the tortoise shell. Measures when closed 2.25" deep x 1.75" wide x 0.75" high. Stock number 34748.
