Thompsons of Kilburn Mouseman Gavel and Block
A rare and difficult to find Thompsons of Kilburn adzed oak 'Mouseman' gavel and block c.1950`s. The gavel with octagonal handle, turned pad to the end and oactagonal gavel head with aadzed finish to the sides. Superbly carved mouse with long tail to the gavel head top, the base with pad forming the striker. Original matching octagonal block with moulded sides and striking pad to the centre, plus adzed finish to all surfaces. Superb rich colour and patina throughout and presented in excellent condition ready for use! Gavel measures 7" long x 2" diameter at the hea...d x 3.5" high. Block measures 3.5" square x 1.25" high.
