Thompsons of Kilburn Mouseman Desk Tidy and Pen Tray
A superb and difficult to find Thompson's of Kilburn 'Mouseman' adzed oak desk tidy & pen tay with trademark mouse to the surface C.1960's. Superbly crafted in oblong form with rounded ends, carved arched boarder running continuously around the sides. The surface with long scooped out tray, large enough to hold several pens, two small scooped out sections sat either side of the mouse to hold small items. Large well carved trademark mouse with long tail set to the centre of the rear. Wonderful rich colour and original patina throughout, could alternately used as a dressing tabl...e tidy for holding watches and jewellery. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 11.75" long x 4.5" wide x 1.30" high to the surface x 2.5" to top of mouse. Stock number 40757.
