Superior Quality Edwardian Mahogany Grandmother Clock
A superior quality Edwardian figured mahogany cased Grandmother clock with engraved silvered dial and Westminster chiming, C.1910. The fine quality figured mahogany case with arched top and moulded cornice, quarter columns with brass mounts to each side of the glazed dial window. Fretwork sound frets to each side. The slim trunk with figured timber door and matching timbers to the panelled base. Mould plinth to the bottom with original bracket feet. The quality 8 day three train movement with anchor escapement and Westminster chiming to the quarters; strike silencing facility. Engraved s...ilvered dial and chapter ring. Excellent condition with original unfaded colour and polish. Fully overhauled movement, full working order. Measures 70.5" high x 14" wide x 7.5" deep. Stock number 35945.
