A superb late George III period yew wood comb back Windsor chair with wonderful original colour and patina c.1820. Moulded elm seat with railed yew wood comb back, moulded back rest to the top and ...bent wood arm support running through the centre of the back. Stylish turned legs with supporting bent wood crinoline base stretcher. Wonderful original mellow colour and rich patina throughout, presented in excellent original condition. Very comfortable and useable. Measures 24" wide x 16" deep x 35" high to top of chair back x 17" seat height. Stock number 41775.
