Superb Victorian Timber Gilt Mirror
A superb Victorian timber gilt mirror with original pediment and gilt finish C.1875. Oblong surround to the mirror with beaded inner edge an laurel leave design outer edge. Original pediment to the top with urn to the centre flanked by floral plaster work swags on wire work frame. Matching floral and leaf work swags to the sides with Greek key mounts to the lower half. Matching floral swag pediment to the base. Original patinated parcel gilt finish, excellent mirror glass, the plaster work in superb condition. Original back board. Measures 23" max width x 43" max height. Mirror plate measures... 16" wide x 24" high. Stock number 37934.
