Superb Victorian 'Sea-Coast' London Stick Barometer
A Superb Mid Victorian polished oak 'Sea-Coast' stick barometer.c.1875. Made by highly regarded maker, James Henry Steward of The Strand, London (w.1869-88 at this address). Enamelled glass inverted scales with double vernier marker for yesterday & today readings. Matching thermometer scale to the centre. Flower carved cistern cover to the base. Full working order. Solid oak case in superb condition. Measures 5.5" x 4"deep x 38"long.
