A superb quality mid Victorian oval timber gilt framed mirror with original floral swags pediment c.1870. The dished timber gilt oval mirror frame with decorative plaster work border to the o...uter edge and breaded border to the mirror edge. Original plaster gilt wire work floral swagged pediment to the top of the mirror frame returning down the sides with ribbon design crest to the top. Original quarter plate mirror glass with bevelled edge in excellent blemish and scratch free condition. Presented in superb original condition with good original gilt finish and no damage, original boarded back with secure wall hanging fixings. Measures 36" wide overall x 2" deep x 28" high including pediment with the oval section of frame measuring 33" wide x 23" high. Stock number CS262.
