Superb Victorian Oak Tantalus Box
A superb Victorian brass bound oak gentleman's after dinner three bottle tantalus box C.1900. The oak box with decorative cast brass bindings and carry handles to the sides, twin bevel edge glass doors to the front surface on opening releasing the decanters. Three original hobnail cut crystal decanters with matching stoppers in mint condition, and three drinking glasses to the front section. Space to the right for playing cards and semi concealed cigar drawer to the base with sprung release button. Original presentation crest to the top. Top quality and presented in immaculate condition with ...a deep shine, all glassware in perfect condition. Measures 15" wide x 13.5" high x 11.5" deep. Stock number 36580.
