A superb quality Victorian marquetry inlaid figured walnut chest of drawers in William & Mary style c.1880. Book matched figured veneered top with panels of seaweed design marqu...etry to the centre and corners. Three graduated drawers to the front with book matched figured veneers and two oval panels of marquetry to match the top, plus engraved backplate brass handles. Inlaid panels to the figured veneered sides and moulded plinth to the base with bracket feet below. Excellent quality and condition with a good colour and rich polish. Measures 37" wide x 20.5" deep x 36" high. Stock number 40400.
