Superb Victorian Mahogany Stationery Box & Bookends
A superb quality late Victorian figured mahogany Sheraton inlaid stationery box with a matching pair of bookends C.1890. The figured mahogany stationery box with hinged serpentine lid, Sheraton sunbursts to the lid and corners. Opens to reveal a fitted interior with divisions for letters and envelopes. The matching pair of bookends with Sheraton sunbursts and lead weighted bases. All pieces in immaculate condition with a deep shine and original patina. Box measures 10.5" wide x 8.5" high x 6" deep. Each bookend measures 5" high x 4" wide x 3" deep. Stock number 36363.
