A superb Victorian oak cased fishermans barometer by collected maker Dollond C.1885. Ring turned deep solid oak surround, aneroid movement behind a fine quality porcelain dial bearing the makers name ...Dollond, London to the upper half and the flag and wording ' Shipwrecked Fishermen & Mariners Royal Benevolent Society' to the lower half along with serial number 899. Sat behind bevel edge glass with a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. A difficult to find and collectable item presented in excellent condition with a deep shine and in full working order. Measures 6.5" diameter x 3" deep. Stock number CS30
