Superb Victorian Cast Silver Playing Card Case
A superb quality Victorian cast decorative solid silver playing card case with decorative scenes to both sides, hallmarked Birmingham 1899. The face with a musician serenading two ladies, the rear face with peacocks in a country house garden setting. Plain polished sides and snap opening top with clap to the front, opening to reveal a gilt interior. Hallmarks to both sections, heavy quality. Presented in excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 3.75" wide x 2.75" high x 1" deep. Stock number 35814.
