Superb Victorian Cast Brass Cased Ships Barometer
A superb quality Victorian cast brass cased ships bulk head marine barometer with white porcelain dial c.1885. The heavy cast brass case with mounting flange to the rear and hinged cast brass bezel forming the door glazed with quarter plate bevelled edge. Porcelain dial with weather predictions sat around the outer edge and blued steel pointer, aneroid movement behind. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, fully serviced and working. Measures 9" diameter x 6.5" dial x 5" deep. Stock number 40720.
