Superb Victorian Carved Walnut Desktop Barometer
A superb Victorian period carved walnut cased aneroid desktop barometer C.1885. The swept arch design case with moulded foot, decorative high quality carving to the front of the case. The inset porcelain dial of the aneroid movement barometer sat behind bevel edge glass and set in a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Fully overhauled movement, superb colour and original patina. Measures 17" wide at the base x 4" deep x 12.5" high. Stock number 35515.
