A superb quality Victorian carved oak surround aneroid barometer with porcelain dial C.1880. Turned and carved case with stylized leaf design and ring turned outer edge. Decorative white porcelain dial bearing the makers name Lennie & Thompson of Dundee to the aneroid movement. Sat behind a bevelled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Superb condition with a deep shine. Full working order. 9.75" diameter x 2.5" deep. Stock number 34299.
