A superb quality Victorian buttoned back easy chair in the manner of Howard Bros, reupholstered to a high standard in Abraham Moon pure wool fabric c.1880. The substantial and well shaped frame wit...h rolled over deep buttoned back and matching rolled over arms. The deep and generous sprung seat with rounded front edge and apron below, swept lower edge to the sides. Sat on turned mahogany legs with splayed back legs, brass and porcelain castors below. The original horse hair upholstery fully reupholstered to a high standard in Abraham Moon pure wool 'Melton pebble- earth' oatmeal coloured fabric with piped edges. Very comfortable and useable, presented in immaculate newly upholstered condition. Measures 32" wide x 37" deep x 35" high to top of chair back x 15" seat height. Stock number CS216.
