Superb Victorian Burr Walnut Tantalus Box
A superb mid Victorian burr walnut brass bound tantalus box with original contents C.1870 Domed top and double doors to the front, book matched burr veneered exterior with decorative brass bindings and carrying handles to the sides. Opens to reveal an original fitted and blue velvet lined interior with all the original matching contents. Six cut crystal glasses to the doors sat in gilt brass holders, and three matching hobnail cut crystal decanters and stoppers to the centre section. Original solid continental silver tray to the back. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine, all th...e original glassware in mint condition.
