A superb Victorian tortoise shell with decorative mother of pearl inlay sewing and manicure set. Original contents with red silk pouch for the sewing tools, and matching silk lining. Mother of pearl handles to the manicure set. White glass writing tablet for writing notes, written in pencil `Bridget Tidswell, 45 Rochdale Rd, Manchester` C.1880. Mint condition. Measures 4.25" high. x 2.5" wide. x 2" deep.
