Superb Solid Oak Pedestal Desk
A superb quality and very stylish solid oak pedestal desk with panelled back and sides c.1920. Three panel wine red tooled hide writing surface with oak framed edges and inset forming the knee hole, repeated to the back. Three drawers bellow and three drawers to each pedestal with original polished brass swan neck fittings. Canted reeded corners to each side of the pedestals; repeated on the rear. Fielded panels to the sides, knee hole and rear. Sat on moulded edge plinths to each pedestal. Solid oak drawer linings. High quality with a rich colour and deep shine. The desk separates into three ...pieces for ease of transport. Measures 58" wide x 36" deep x 31" high. Knee hole 26" wide x 26" high. Stock number 37169.
