Superb Shell Inlaid Swept Top Edwardian Mantel Clock
A superb quality Edwardian 8 day swept top inlaid mantel clock with stylised shell inlay to the top c.1910. The solid fiddle back cut mahogany case with swept top and stylised fruit wood inlay to the front, the edges strung in matching fruitwood. Moulded edge base with plinth foot below. 8 day Paris made movement with platform escapement sat behind a porcelain dial with Roman numerals. Matching convex glass set in a polished brass bezel. Fully overhauled and working, presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 7.25" wide x 3.25" deep x 9.25" high. Stock numb...er 39608.
