Superb Quality Torquay Marine Barometer
A superb Victorian brass cased marine barometer with engraved silvered dial and crescent thermometer by Solomon of Torquay c.1885. The original silvered dial with engraved ...decorative star design centre and scale to the outer edge, plus blown glass mercury action crescent shaped thermometer to the lower half of the dial. The dial set behind a glazed viewing window with central reading marker. Solid brass dished casing with brass hanging mount to the top. Fully serviced, in full working order and presented in immaculate condition. Measures 5.5" diameter x 2.25 deep x 7.5" high including hanging loop. Stock number 42319.
