Superb Quality George V Table Vesta
A superb quality large George V period solid silver table vesta with unusual push up dispenser, hallmarked Birmingham 1924. Heavy quality with canted corners and engine turned finish to both sides and match strikers to the sides. Snap closing lid and push up base for dispensing the matches, the lid opening to reveal a gilded interior. Designed for holding large matches for candle and fire lighting. Bears the makers mark for Joseph Gloster. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 3" high x 1.75" wide x 0.75" deep. Stock number 36063.
