Superb Pair of Walnut Framed Arm Chairs
A matching pair of superb quality Victorian carved walnut framed open arm chairs with striking cut moquette fabric c.1880. Swept open arms with rolled over ends and carved relief to each, matching carved decoration to the show frame below the seat. The elegant moulded legs supported by an X frame stretcher, carved decoration to match the arms. Both chairs with webbed seats and back rests upholstered in older, but immaculate cut moquette fabric in striking greens, yellows and golds. Each chair in superb condition and very comfortable and useable. Each measures 26" wide x 26"... deep x 45" high to top of chair back x 19" seat height. Stock number 38833.
