Superb Pair of Victorian Staffordshire Greyhounds
A superb quality pair of Staffordshire greyhounds in mint condition c.1885. Each matching dog with fine detail and slender individually formed legs, the bases with slip decoration forming the grass..., rabbit in the mouth of each dog. Both dogs decorated in rich sponge painted terracotta with good details throughout. Both presented in excellent condition with no damage, repairs or restoration. Each measures 7" wide x 3" deep x 8" high. Stock number 40730.
