Superb Negretti and Zambra Barometer
A superb quality early Victorian mahogany and brass cased aneroid barometer by sought after maker Negretti & Zambra C.1840. The unusual fine quality case with slim mahogany framed case and decorative brass lion mask mount to the pediment. The quality aneroid movement sat be hind a well engraved silvered scale bearing the makers name and serial number. Sat behind a glazed view window with central reading marker sat in a convex polished brass bezel. Fully overhauled movement and present in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Probably unique in design and totally original. Measures 10" dia...meter x 16.5" high x 2.5" maximum depth. Stock number 35794.
