A superb early Moorcroft Cornflower design vase, signed William Moorcroft c.1912. Small rim to the base forming the foot with urn shaped body and small flared rim to the neck. Decorated with four p...anels of tube lined cornflowers, the background painted in pale golden shades and dark greens, each panel painted with superbly detailed red petaled cornflowers. Signed in full to the base W Moorcroft in green with no factory impressions indicating a very early example. Presented in perfect unrestored condition with no scratches or chips. Measures 6" high x 3.5" max diameter. Stock number 38908.
