Superb Mid Victorian Solid Walnut Carved Banjo Barometer
A superb Mid Victorian solid walnut banjo barometer c.1880. Foliage carved decoration to the shaped case. Silvered engraved dial with brass bezel surround and bevelled edge glass. Matching silvered thermometer scale and bevelled glass. Apples, plums to the surround and a segmented orange carved to the centre. Flower decoration to the base and garlands to the top. Full working order. Top quality and condition. Measures 14" wide x 3.5" deep x 34" long. Stock no. 36200.
