Superb Mid Victorian Skeletonised Negretti Marine Barometer
A superb quality mid Victorian antique skeletonised 'Holosteric' marine barometer C.1870. Made by highly regarded maker, Negretti & Zambra of London. Porcelain dial bearing the makers name, skeletonised movement to the centre. Sat behind a beveled edge glass mounted in a polished brass bezel and centre reading marker. Unusual gilt cast brass garland surround to the polished mahogany case. Full working order. Superb quality and condition, an unusual and rare item. Measures 8" diameter x 2.75" deep. Stock no. 36026.
