Superb Matching Pair of Antique Silver and Enamel Boxes
A superb matching pair of antique solid silver and enamel table boxes. Import mark for London 1908. Fine inset enamel to the centres with classical 18th Century scenes of courtiers sat in a garden with countryside in the background. Bronze guilloche enamel banding to the surround with a fine engraved edging. The sides of each case engine turned and a flange to the front for opening. The hinged top closing nicely together with a clean mahogany lined interior. Clear Continental hallmarks to the edges. 260 grams each in total weight. Presented in immaculate condition. Each measures 3.5" wide x 3....25" deep x 1" high. Stock no. 37457 / 37458.
