Superb Liberty's Leather Jewellery Box
A superb fully fitted brown hide jewellery box by Liberty of London C.1920. The fine quality mid brown Italian hide bound exterior with slightly domed top and decorative embossed gilt lined edge. Matching gilt line to the top edge of the bottom section and the base. The superb original pale blue velvet lined interior with fitted top tray for rings, etc. Dark brown hide trimmed edges and gilt embossed lines. The tray lifting out to reveal a matching velvet lined bottom section. Working lock and key, bears the Liberty name to the leather base. Excellent condition with a deep shine and very clea...n interior. Measures 16" long x 8" deep x 4.5" high. Stock number 35731.
