A superb heavy quality Victorian solid silver tray by Mappin & Webb, hallmarked Birmingham 1898. Shaped flared outer edge with cut outs forming the handles. Oval formed inner with polished finish. Matching polished back and rim. Bears the makers name Mappin & Webb London and the hallmark for Birmingham 1898. Thick gauge best quality silver with a deep shine in unused immaculate condition with no dents or scratches. 103.5 troy oz /3206.4 grams weight. Measures 25" long x 18" wide x 1" deep.
