A superb quality large Victorian carved walnut cased aneroid barometer with skeletonised movement and porcelain dial C.1890. Beaded decorative edge to the turned case, with crisply carved inner band. ...Skeletonised visible movement with porcelain enamel dial sat behind bevel edge glass with a brass bezel and centre reading marker. Polished brass hanging loop to the top. Superb mellow colour and original patina. Fully overhauled movement. Measures 12" diameter x 2.5" deep. Stock number 34000.
