A superb late Victorian reeded Corinthian column telescopic solid brass lamp standard by sought after maker Hinks c.1900. Heavy weighted stepped base sat on ball feet. The substantial reeded column wi...th acanthus leaf design mount at the base and cast Corinthian mount at the top. Rise and fall telescopic lamp mount to the top, rising by 20", locking ring to secure in position. Bears the makers name to the base ' Hinks' along with serial number. Polished and fully rewired with silk covered cable and brass switched lamp holder. Measures 48" high extending to 68" x 13" square at the base. Stock number 36975.
