A superb George III period yew wood four drawer chest with crossbanding throughout and original brass fittings c.1800. Caddy top with figured yew veneers and crossbanded edges. Four graduated drawe...rs below each with figured veneers and crossbanding to match the top. Moulded base rail with original bracket feet below, figured veneers to the sides and original brass swan neck fittings. Presented in superb original condition with a rich colour and original polish; a difficult item to find in yew. Measures 34.5" wide x 17" deep x 32" high. Stock number 41974.
