Superb George V Period Silver & Tortoise Shell Jewellery Box
A Superb George V period solid silver oval shaped jewellery box with inlaid tortoise shell top, hallmarked Birmingham 1920. The amber tortoiseshell domed top with silver inlaid decoration. The oval form silver base with rim to the opening lid and base. Opens to reveal an original velvet and silk lined interior. Sat on small splayed hoof feet. Bears the makers mark for E.S. Barnsley & Co. Presented in excellent clean condition with a deep shine. Measures 4" wide x 3" deep x 2" high. Stock no 36011.
