Superb George III Tortoiseshell Mirror
A superb original George III period tortoiseshell veneered wall mirror with ebony moulding C.1800. Concaved moulded frame with wavy design moulded ebony outer trim with matching moulding to the mirror surround. Red mottled tortoise shell veneers to the main frame, and ebonised outer frame edge. Old patinated mirror glass in useable condition and boarded back. Excellent condition with a deep shine. Measures 15.75" high x 12" wide x 2.75" deep. Stock number 34784.
