A superb George III period antique mahogany Gainsborough chair c.1790. Decorative carve relief to the moulded arm faces, `H` stretcher base supporting moulded front legs and splayed back legs, with or...iginal brass castors. Well shaped frame with generous sized over stuffed seat and matching upholstered back and arm pads. Reupholstered to a high standard in Abraham Moon pure wool fabric with contrasting piped edges. Very comfortable and usable . Measures 43" high at top of back x 24" deep x 26" wide x 18.5" seat height. Stock number 32730.
