A superb George III cherry wood snap top occasional table with oval top and umbrella tripod in wonderul original condition. C.1820. The oval top formed from a single piece of figured cherry wood, s...at over a fine turned column support with umbrella design tripod foot to the base. The tripod legs with moulded edges and small turned bun foot below each, original hand forged securing strap to the centre. The top snapping into an upright position with original mounting block and catch release. Superb original colour and rich patina, pre in excellent untouched condition. Measures 23" wide x 16" deep at the surface x 27.5" high. Stock number 41443.
