A superb early George II period oak open pot board dresser in wonderful original condition c.1730. The two plank top of shallow depth with moulded edge overlapping at the ends. Three drawers bellow each sat slightly recessed within a moulded edge aperture, arched and shaped apron below supported by turned urn shaped columns. Open two plank pot board below, sat on a framed apron with the stiles forming the feet. Wonderful deep colour and rich patina, complemented by original brass fittings. Unusually shallow depth making an ideal console table. Measures 72" long x 14.75" deep x 29.5" high. S...tock number 38243.
