Superb Edwardian Silver Potpourri
A superb quality Edwardian solid silver potpourri with embossed and fretted floral lid by highly regarded maker William Comyns, hallmarked London 1909. The solid silver push top lid with embossed and fretted floral decoration forming a flower head with small flowers and buds intertwined. The matching base decoration with a continuous band of embossed scroll design decoration. The lid removing to reveal a clean interior for placing the potpourri, the lids fretted holes allowing the scent to escape. Bears the makers mark for highly regarded silversmiths William Comyns along with clear ma...tching hallmarks to both sections. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. Measures 2.25" diameter x 1.25" high. Stock number 41526.
