Superb Edwardian Silver and Tortoise Shell Page Turner with Magnifier
A superb and difficult to find large Edwardian tortoise shell page turner with silver magnifier, hallmarked Birmingham 1908. Broad figured tortoise shell blade, slightly oval in form, forming the page turning blade. Shaped silver mount to the top with engraved line to the edge supporting the matching silver rim holding the original magnifying glass. Bears the makers mark for Birmingham silversmiths Miller Brothers along with clear hallmarks. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep and with a rich patina to the tortoise shell. Measures 1.5" long overall x 1.25" wide at the ha...ndle x 3" magnifying glass diameter. Stock number 41370.
